Her dream to study abroad was realized when she came across a social media post about The KENYA Airlift Program. She is now studying at her dream school through a graduate assistantship award that pays her school fees and living expenses stipend.

From a humble family in Meru county, Wilfred was among the first students to believe in the program when he first met Bob Mwiti in 2018. His journey is quite inspiring. Wilfred who has already graduated currently works for Appstec America, as a Senior Business Analyst managing the entire KENYA Airlift Program.

KTN: The Daring Abroad Story of Elosy Kithinji

Elosy was among the first beneficiaries of the program. This girl child who hails from the slopes of Mount Kenya in Meru county excelled in her studies throughout. She was the first student in the program to get a GMAT score of 550. She initially relocated to the beautiful shores of the Gulf of Mexico, in Florida, before transferring the following semester to complete her masters at Illinois State University on a Full graduate Assistantship award. Elosy has already graduated from school and enjoying her American dream.

Winjoy grew up on the slopes of Mount Kenya in Tharaka Nithi County. This girl child who excelled in academics finally relocated to the beautiful city of Huntsville to study at The University of Alabama in Huntsville to study Msc Business Analytics.

KTN: The Daring Abroad Story of Bob Mwiti

When Bob Mwiti teamed up with Hon DMK, member of county assembly for Aboget West ward in Meru, in 2018, The KENYA Airlift Program was just a dream. When Bob was featured on national television in 2019, the program had less than 15 students enrolled. Talk of Humble beginnings!! However, due to continued hard work and ingenuity, the program has continued to grow exponentially. These two great men continue to inspire many by continually touching lives one by one.

From Nairutia village in Nyeri county to the beautiful city of Grand Rapids in the state of Michigan, Alex Gichuki journey is one of great inspiration. Alex heard about the program from his friend when he was still undertaking his bachelor’s and immediately he was done with school , he joined the program. He is now studying Msc Data Science & Analytics.

When Bob Mwiti was featured by VoA, one of the largest international TV stations in the world, in early 2019, the program had very few beneficiaries. It was a defining moment for the program. Talk of daring to dream.
